I'm a huge fan of punk bands such as Pennywise, Black Pacific, and Good Riddance, and I'm wondering if you think its possible to be a fan of punk rock, but not a punk rocker. Some people (who know almost nothing about punk music) say that this isn't possible, and that they're surprised when I play them the music I listen to. While I'm not a confrontational person and don't play in a band, I listen to punk music a lot. I'm also a fan of grunge, ska, and some alternative rock. While I'm aware that punk isn't about the way you dress, but more about what you believe in and do, some people are completely baffled when they see me wearing a Clash t-shirt, yet have no piercings, tattoos, and don't do anything to my hair. I have the most fun with guitar when I'm making up my own songs. Best Electric Guitar For Around $300?

Definately get either a Fender Stratocaster (NOT SQUIER) or a Gibson Les Paul or a Epiphone Les Paul. Those are the two most popular guitars for a reason. Because they are GOOD. You can't go wrong with either one of them. I would recommend the Les Paul for heavier distortion playing and overall just more intense playing compare to the Strat which is still a rock guitar but songs like sweet child o mine just wouldn't sound right with it. Epiphone is made by Gibson and the guitars are just as good. Epiphone is just cheaper guitars but they are still excellent. I have a Epiphone Les Paul Jr. It is a great guitar. I wish i would have gotten the Les Paul though.

My brothers unborn baby died?

I'm so sorry to hear about the baby. I understand thier pain all too well. Two years I gave birth to a little girl who was stillborn. I have also had two miscarriages. Although the pain is great, it's just not the same as having bury your child. You wouldn't beileve the insensitive things that were said to me. Like; "Oh well good thing you have other children" or "God took your baby so he could another angel" and "Your young so you can have more..." I was devastated! It's very important that your sensitive to them especially her. Not that your brother doesn't matter but she carried the baby inside of her. After the funeral is over their still going to need support. One of the nurses at the hospital told me after while no one is going to want to hear or talk about your baby but you. How true she was. So if they want to talk be there for them, be that shoulder to cry on. It's going to be a long time that they'll need that a good support system. Best wishes to you and your family.

How do I move forward from an affair with a married man?

I will try to make this scenario brief. In august 2010, a married man came into my life and we had an intense affair, being I'm married as well. It was both emotional and physical and time consuming on both our parts. At the end of jan 2011, he ended our affair because his wife became pregnant with their first child. I was of course devastated and I think he was shocked as well but knew he had to end it right away for his wife and unborn child. It felt like a real break-up because what we were so used to being close not only physically and emotionally,a tie between two people was severed in one day that changed everything. Months past, and now in May, I find out that his wife lost the baby. I am sure she lost it after Feb and into March. I had a feeling something was wrong thru his facebook. He never told anyone thru facebook although he did tell everyone on facebook that they were having a baby back in january. He does not know that I know that they lost the baby. Which I find weird that in April, we happened to be in vegas the same time and I texted him, and he wanted to meet. I did not meet him as I was still hurt by the whole thing. Now brings forward to may and I don't know why all my feelings are coming back even stronger and I want him back in my life maybe for the wrong reasons. I feel there's this tension between us,even on facebook and trying to be friends is difficult. Do you think it's hard for him to be friends with me, thinking that I don't know that he lost his baby,and with all the past drama combined?

My iPhone 3G is acting up. The screen is completely frozen. Youre friends need to be more understanding of your situation, even though you chose to live uptown. Your friends chose to live downtown. You are both entitled to live in the location of your choice. If they want to stay friends, they need to make sacrafices too. You are not a one way street. You should talk to them about this situation. If they are good friends, they will understand and be accomodating. But you should also be prepared to possibly lose a few friends. But just remember, if you lose friends over something like this, youre better off without them because you need friends that will be with you through anything, even an annoying commute.

Its a business and its all about money. Confused on blood tests?

I am currently 10 weeks 1 day pregnant. I just got my blood test results back from my OBGYN. Everything looked perfectly normal except one thing. When I was little, I had a shot for rubella. It is listed on my shot record and my mom remembers me getting it. When my blood test came back, it said I was negative for being immuned to rubella. I asked the doctor what that meant and he said that usually means I never had the shot for it. How could that be possible? Of course it has been 25 years since I would have got the shot, but shouldn't it still be in my system? Rubella can cause a lot of damage to an unborn child. It is very rare, but can happen. My doctor told me to stay away from large crowded markets especially in the next few months. Anyone have a clue of why it is not in my system?

I moved to a new apartment and so my mailing address changed. I usually get a reminder through the mail to get my car tag renewed. I got pulled over by a sheriff's deputy and got a ticket for an expired car tag. He told me that if I go and renew my tag and show him proof that it was renewed, he would take care of the ticket. So that's what I did. I went and renewed the tag and took the receipt down to the sheriff's office. The receptionist made a copy of it and told me that the deputy will take care of it. Now, three months later, I got a letter in the mail from the state's department of safety telling me that my license has been suspended because I didn't show up in court for the expired car tag. Well, I thought the ticket was cancelled, but apparently the deputy neglected to do that..

Im 20 weeks pregnant and I want to stop smoking!?

Im 20 weeks pregnant and I want nay NEED to stop smoking. Please help me! Problems with my dishwasher?

We have a Whirlpool Quiet Partner II and we never have used it until yesterday(over a year since we moved into the house). It's new, never been used before, but after using it yesterday, it is a pain! We don't have the manual, but we set it to "soak & scour", "sani-rinse", and "heated dry" on "normal" setting and hit start. It started soaking the dishes and once all the water got in there, it set for almost an hour and we started to get concerned. Then I took off "soak & scour" and left only "sani-rinse" and "heated dry" and the dishwasher began washing the dishes. Once it washed and drained them, it would refill and wash them again. And again, and again, and again. It had to have washed the dishes 10 times. So we pushed "cancel/drain" and tried only "Heated dry" to see if it would go ahead and dry the dishes instead of washing them like it started washing them once we took "soak & scour" off, but it didn't. It went right back to washing them. In the end, after 2 hours of trying to get it to simply wash and dry the dishes, we ended up just drying the dishes ourselves. We put a tablet and the "drying" liquid in the slots where they are supposed to go so I don't believe the problem was to do with that? Is there something wrong I'm doing?

I would say Verizon Fios only because I've had before. The internet connection is really good. If you get Verizon, then the Verizon guy should come in and install everything for you... I own a Victorian terraced conversion flat on the top floor and have done a loft conversion with the freeholder's consent. 4 years after I had completed the loft conversion, the freeholder created and sold a lease to the airspace above the property to 3rd party without my consent. I am trying to sell my flat but the buyer has said that he will not buy it unless the lease to the airspace if cancelled as it could mean that the lease owner could develop above the property. In reality, there is no way to develop upwards on top of a loft conversion, nor is there any access to the roof without going through my flat. However, the buyers solicitors have said that with the airspace lease in place, I will never be able to sell my flat as it will put off all future buyers. Okay so I get child disability (a bit over $700 a month, close to $800) and in my state that qualified me for medicare and medicaid to cover the medicare costs. However, since I'm also getting lots of backpay from SSA and saving a handful of it for housing later, I know that if I keep over a certain amount for roughly 6 more months I could lose medicaid but i was wondering if I really had the option to use a private insurance to cover medicare instead of medicaid? What are the pros and cons? Without medicaid, over $200 is taken out of my check per month, would using private insurance help the issue too?

Father's rights to visitation without a court order?

My boyfriend just had a baby, his name is on the birth certificate, but there are no court orders for visitation or child support. Two days ago they went to court for child support but given the situation me and my boyfriend are in, and what all the mother is asking for, the county clerks said they would hold off on the support and re-scheduled another court date for the 16th. The (5 month old) baby's mother is refusing to allow him to pick up the baby, or take the baby, or allow me to be around the baby. She had us babysit the baby a few months ago so she could go to a wedding, and has allowed us to keep him here for a few hours, she also met with us at the mall to hang out.. having no issues at all until she found out I was pregnant. Now she is being.. silly. She demands money and refuses to share information about the baby.. now she is demanding that my boyfriend go to HER house to visit the baby.. like supervised visitation.. which we refuse to allow because we have done that before and all she will do is be so negative to a point where my boyfriend ends up having to leave because of all the things she says about him, or me, or our unborn child, or our eldest children (I have a 5 yr old from another man and he has a 4 yr old from another woman). My question is: is there anything he/we can do to get personalized visitation with the baby so that my boyfriend can see his son without it's mother breathing down his throat? All he wants is a little time to bond, something she has done her best to stop. She has already stated that she wants him to give up his rights and allow her boyfriend to adopt. (Same guy who told her to abort their child.) My boyfriend just wants things to be equal and fair.. what can we do? I was having a ton of pain yesterday. I am 6 weeks pregnant. Turns out its my appendix. Im scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning. Should i divorce my drug addicted husband of only 7 months?

My husband and i met approx 4 years ago. He has a ten yr history of drug abuse and jail time. We had so many ups and down because of his drug abuse. I felt i knew "the real him" but i was wrong. i believed the real him was this amazing amazing caring loving generous man who could do no wrong in my eyes and who loved me unconditionally. But his addiction overtook him. And this last time he depleated our unborn childs account (i was 5 months pregnant at the time with our first) and when i confronted him he threw things. shattered them. and tackled me to the floor sitting on me and screaming in my face. i knew he had been using the past couple of weeks and i tried to get him to talk to me, to go to meetings to call his counseler but hed lie and lie and lie and i felt so worthless and so beat down from all the previous times i guess i threw my hands up. It wasnt until he tackled me to the floor did i decide enough was enough. (i misscarried our first child and was a high risk pregnancy this time) he left for work and i packed up and flew to tx to my family. he went thru a binge and is now telling me he wants me and his child in his life. hell do anything. and if i cared at all i wouldnt take away his chance at being there when shes born. if i cared at all i would leave my family and go back to him to work through this because after all we are married. for better or for worse, (my family does not like him, they said if i go back i am cut out of their lives forever because they can not watch me and their grandchild go down because of a drug addict) i understand we are married. and i love him with all my heart. and during our 4 years iv provided him with everything he needed to get clean and stay clean. i tried doing what all the books and internet blogs say to do. I dont know why i even married him knowing deep down hed continue to relapse. I know he is a very very good manipulater and is good at telling me what i want to hear, he knows what to say to bring me back to him. part of me wants to believe he has changed for good this time. but the better part of me says hell never change. and if he cared at all for me and his child he would have utilized all his resources and tried harder to stay clean, he would chose to tell the truth instead of chosing to tell a lie. he wouldnt have spent all the baby money. he wouldnt have tackled me to the floor. I know an addict addiction is an overwhelming thing for them and they lose themselves in it and the best thing for an addict is love and support.. but when is enough enough.. when do i stop jepardizing my life and the life of my unborn for him? I believe he wants to be the man knows he is sober.. but i dont think hes ready to give up his addiction, or he is until he gets stressed out or i give in to what he wants. i dont believe in divorce, but i dont believe in having my child grow up in that environment more...

Reduce Court Fees in closed traffic case in Ohio?

Ok, my boyfriend/unborn child's father messed up about 3 years ago he drove his neighbor's car under the influence and wrecked and now owes over $3000 in court costs. His license is suspended because of this, he can't even get plates on a car thats in his name. With a baby due in less than 2 months there is no way we can afford to pay all that so he can get his license so I was wondering if there if a motion or anything that we can file with the court to reduce that amount? Do you think my husbands behavior is something to be worried about?

This obviously needs a lot of explaining. We live next to this woman, who he has known his entire life. He isn't related to her, but he claims that she is like his "little sister". But, their behavior concerns me. First off, after knowing her for over a year, she confirms to me that she used to love him and she hated me at first. Best Electric Guitar For Around $300?

Definately get either a Fender Stratocaster (NOT SQUIER) or a Gibson Les Paul or a Epiphone Les Paul. Those are the two most popular guitars for a reason. Because they are GOOD. You can't go wrong with either one of them. I would recommend the Les Paul for heavier distortion playing and overall just more intense playing compare to the Strat which is still a rock guitar but songs like sweet child o mine just wouldn't sound right with it. Epiphone is made by Gibson and the guitars are just as good. Epiphone is just cheaper guitars but they are still excellent. I have a Epiphone Les Paul Jr. It is a great guitar. I wish i would have gotten the Les Paul though.

My baby can feel when i am rubbing or poking my tummy. Even if i am playing music he kicks alot. I thought he was still young but now i am super shocked. If i haven't heard him kick for like 30 minute a just rub my tummy and he kicks. Did you experience the same? When did your unborn start to respond to sound and touch? thank you

Because all there in it for is the money. They do not give to craps about the quality of the music they just care about the consumer buying the products the singer has. Am I being selfish about my son's visitations?

My sons mother asked if I could give up an upcoming weekend with his so that he can go to their family reunion. I said only if I can take have him for the 4th of July and take him to daycare the next day. She said she made plans already and that she would cancel them if I gave up one of my 2 hr visitation days as well. My response was no because I like seeing our kid too. She then asked if I wanted him tonight (friday) and again I said no because I need to work. I do not ask for a lot extra time from her. When I do she usually says no. Stress is making me nauseous, just how bad is it for baby?

I'm almost 20 weeks along and having some major issues with my fiances mother. Without going into it, the stress is really getting to me and it doesn't help that she calls several times a week to complain about something new, or that we have to make the half hour drive to her house once a week for dinner but she won't come to our house to give me a rest from driving.
