Bands or songs that would help an alternative genre kid listen to some more country?

I'm looking to broaden my musical tastes. I listen mostly to ska music and alternative rock, but I'm looking to venture into the country genre a little bit more to expand my musical interests. I've honestly never had much of an interest in the country genre, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any bands or song to ease me into the genre.
